About Our Marketplace
Prior to the growth of the Internet and before computers and smartphones became ubiquitous, consumers all over the world used yellow page print directories to search for products and services. In the 1980s, black pages directories were published to allow consumers, businesses, and large corporations to connect with and support minority-owned businesses. Today, Blackpages.com continues its mission of connecting communities. Blackpages.com receives millions of page views from consumers wishing to support businesses listed on our site. Blackpages.com is the Internet’s most visited online directory targeting the minority business and consumer market. Very simply, BlackPages.com is the Internet’s most important address for black and minority-owned businesses and those who wish to support them.
Founder & CEO
David Walton published copies of the Black Pages printed directors in the 90's prior to the commercialization of the Internet. Fast forward to today, the goal is to make blackpages.com and the Black Pages Marketplace a resource to connect consumers who wish to support businesses and providers in their community.
